About the Book
This book, GIRLS...GOD'S BEST 4 U was birthed out of a booklet that was intended for her daughter. When she missed her deadline on giving this booklet to her daughter it layed untouched for nearly 9 years before God asked her, "What have you done with what I gave you?" After her dialog with God was ended, she set out to writing.
This book is a complilation of personal stories of defeats and triumps, eye opening advice about what young girls and young ladies need to know and to be aware of some of Satan's tricks. It has some humor and some serious spots.
Her desire is that each reader will find something that they can take away and incorporate into their lives that will help them become their God's Best.
The book is short but powerful. It is not a preachy book but a book of reason and of a solid foundation.
This book applies to girls and women of any nationality, so don't think because it was authored by a black woman it may not apply to you. Women of all cultures and nationality experience some of the same hurts, disappointments and challenges. It is great when someone comes along and reinforce solid Godly principles that will help a mother save her daughter. And this is what this book does.
This is Avis' first book. She does not know where it will take her, but this one thing she is certain of, it has opened up a new door and what lies beyond that door will be a step toward her divine destiny.
